Over the last few days we’ve seen hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers demonstrating in New York City, against a second term for George W. Bush. Today, a small group of Sydney-siders responded with their own demonstration outside the offices of Halliburton in Sydney’s central business district. While the demonstration was smaller than it’s American counterpart, it was no less colourful. Charles McPhedran spoke to activists Paddy Gibson and Vijay. New York Indymedia’s servers were raided by the FBI in the land of the free today, but they’re still online.
