Greens pledge funding boost for community media

The Greens have pledged to boost community media spending by $27 million per year in an election campaign promise. Senator Scott Ludlam, the Green’s Communication Spokesman, says that the increase would take the sector off the ‘drip feed’ of funding it currently receives.

The package includes $2 million to continue the digital radio transition and the Australian Music Radio Airplay Project(AMRAP).
