Environmental activists are outraged over the Green’s support for the federal government’s plan to save our ailing car industry. The Prime Minister Kevin Rudd’s just announced a 6.2 billion dollar scheme but only one sixth will be spent on enviromental technology. The greens have acknowledged this an important first step. But some experts are saying that funding for sustainlable technology in this industry is still not enough.
