The New South Wales government has had a Graffiti Removal Day over the weekend.

2,000 volunteers from organisations such as the Girl Guides, the Rotary Club, and the NSW Police, cleaned up more than 400 sites from Sydney to Bourke.

The NSW government spends $100 million a year to remove graffiti, but where some see vandalism, others see a vibrant art form.
