The federal government’s new counter terrorism strategy looks to the community to help prevent people becoming radicalised and supporting extremist groups. Released as part of the Council of Australian Government meetings this week, the strategy is missing much of the rhetoric used by Prime Minister Tony Abbott to describe terrorists and groups they belong to.
