Government fraud costing big bucks

A new report by the Australian Institute of Criminology shows the government lost over 530 million dollars last year to fraud. Of the 265,866 reported cases, only around 1000 defendants a year were prosecuted, and of those only 10% received serious sentences. Jack Lawrie spoke to AIC Principle Criminologist, Dr Russell Smith about why government fraud is so high.
