Gonski review set to bridge gaps between private and public schools

A radical shakeup could see a push towards equality between state and private school funding. The Gonski report recommends the government spend an extra $5 billion on education. Three quarters of this money would go to state schools. However the Gillard government haven’t committed to the increase.
