A national campaign to try and get people to leave work on time is filling the gap made by Australia’s 2.14 billion hours of unpaid overtime. A staggering six per cent of Australia’s economic activity per year is the product of work done in this layover period.
Go Home On Time Day aims to get people to do just that, leave work at work. But with SMS’s, emails and the internet prompting more effort outside of hours, are we losing a battle with technology to try and leave at knock-off time.
