It’s rather ironic that one of the places where the phenomenon of global warming is most evident is one of the coldest places on the planet – the Arctic. Scientists working in the Arctic tundra in Alaska are seeing some of the most dramatic evidence to support the notion of global warming. The associate science director at the Tulic field station in Alaska, Dr Donie Brett-Hart, discussed her team’s observations with Neil Smart. She says what’s happening in Alaska now, will happen in the rest of the world over the next fifteen years.
