In Adelaide alone welfare organisations are predicting that 8,000 people will not be able to access quality food. The Wire's Kayla Dickeson spoke with Greg Pattinson, CEO of Foodbank SA.

For the first time in 25 years, global numbers of people facing hunger has dropped under 800 million according to a report released by the UN today. Yet studies are showing that Australia is facing food insecurity, as increasingly everyday Australians are lacking access to quality food.
