If developed countries spent as much money on global aid as they do on pet food – the world would be a better place. A report released today, co-authored by Oxfam and Water-aid, has found the amount of money spent on pet food is almost enough to meet global goals set for poverty, health, education and other fundamental needs. Advocacy Manager for Oxfam, MARC PURCELL, spoke with BEN KELLY about the findings of the new report.
