Gillard avoids human rights abuses in meeting with Indonesian President

Prime Minister Julia Gillard has met with Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, just weeks after sensational video footage showed Indonesian soldiers torturing a West Papuan man. But while the PM says she’s satisfied that the soldiers will be held to account by their government, others aren’t so sure, they say the PM needs to be tougher in her approach to human rights abuses.
