Living in foster homes can be tough at the best of times, but what if your situation means you’re isolated from your culture and your heritage? The Wire found out about an organisation giving Indigenous kids in care the chance to connect with their roots.

Life Without Barriers is a not-for-profit organisation  and the largest non-government provider of out of home care services in Australia. An anonymous donor has recently given the organisation a $1 million  donation and asked that it go towards Indigenous programs. One of the programs that has benefited from this generosity is the Indigenous Camps program in South Australia.
