The furore has continued today following the decision of the Fair Pay Commission to freeze wages for the more than 1.3 million workers across Australia who are currently on the minimum wage. The decision has caused outrage amongst unions with ACTU President Sharan Burrows calling it a “kick in the guts”. So what does it mean for those struggling to get by on $543.78 a week?
