Sexually Transmitted Infections are becoming increasingly common among young people in countries all over the world, including Australia. “Get Clued Up” is a national youth sexual health initiative established by the University of Sydney and the Inspire Foundation. It aims to bring health education to young people. Dr Melissa Kang is a specialist in adolescent medicine at Sydney’s New Children’s Hospital. She speaks to Rachel Trevarthen about the project and why sexual health is such a pertinent issue, especially for young people.
