Non-profit group GENE ENTHICS accuses CSIRO of public relations stunt, following reports they’re pushing for human trials on genetically modified wheat. GENE ETHICS say no approval has been provided for human trials to go ahead. But CSIRO says no final decision has yet been made and human trials are still under discussion. But they’ve reportedly admitted testing has taken place with animals. News wire reports say scientists around the world are calling for any human trials to be halted, until scientific basis is provided.
