Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has set a deadline for the senate: pass The ABCC bill to reinstate the building and construction watch dog or face a double dissolution election in July. The Prime Minister says it’s time to stop playing games, but his announcement means ‘game on’ for the election. The Leader of the opposition, Bill Shorten has criticised the decision, saying the Prime Minister has a plan for his re-election, but not Australia’s future.
