It’s often labelled a talkfest, but can Australia’s presidency of the G20 actually achieve something? The Finance Ministers meeting agreed on targets for economic growth. The message was clear: it’s time to shift from crisis mode and pursue reforms needed to get people back in jobs. But without any particular reforms, and without being able to compel countries to act, will anything happen?
