G20 called up to consider ‘Inclusive economic growth’

The Australian Government has been widely criticised for it’s exclusion of topics at the G20 leaders summit, including issues of climate change and world health. But Professor of Economics at the Griffith Business School, Fabrizio Carmingnani stresses the importance of the G20 in creating what he calls inclusive economic growth. He says poverty, unemployment and inequality are increasingly becoming a wide-spread global issue – one that could be turned around if world leaders are able to successfully implement inclusive economic growth.
