It’s NAIDOC week from 4-11th July, a time of celebration for Indigenous communities across Australia, this year’s theme is: “Self-Determination – Our Community – Our Future – Our Responsibility”. But as this week kicks off there are fears that one of South Australia’s key Aboriginal services will be lost due to funding cuts. Questions are being raised about whether this is a flow on effect from the Federal government’s move to dismantle ATSIC.
