This week is Carer’s Week with the theme Why We Care. There are 2.65 million unpaid carers in Australia – to replace them would cost the country 78 billion dollars every year. David Ford in a Ngunnawal man who is the sole  carer for his 19 year old son Will. He says he wouldn’t have it any other way but that carers need support and respite to keep themselves well. This week Carers Australia is asking people to go to their site and share their caring story.
