For those of you who do not like creepy crawlies, there is some good news. A recent discovery has found that the well-known Australian redback spider has an enemy.

A long forgotten species of wasp has made a come-back through its slaying efforts of the notorious redback spider. Back in 2010 a young boy witnessed a strange coloured wasp sting and drag its paralysed victim along the ground. The boy’s father Dr Peter Irwin from Murdoch university also witnesses this event. Now researchers at the University of Adelaide are saying this little wasp packs a huge sting.
