The Wire

After lethal flooding and beach erosion up and down the eastern seaboard of Australia’s coast, we are still counting the cost as Tasmania continues to cop the storm force today.  A series of tidal and weather events have combined to cause the destructive weather cycle of the last few days.  But with global warming occurring, experts say that more severe events are likely to occur.  Is living on the coast becoming just a bit chancy?  Researchers  believe we should be planning for a greater number of severe events in the future.
