First Peoples Health Unit celebrates five years

Griffith University’s First Peoples Health Unit was established in August 2015 and celebrated its fifth year of operation this week. The unit focuses on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s health in the areas of education, research, and community engagement. Director of The First Peoples Health Unit, Professor Roianne West, says the community has been at the heart of the unit’s goal to close the gap.
