The Yindjibarndi Aboriginal Corporation in remote Western Australia has constructed nine transitional housing units and a commercial training facility to provide suitable housing for apprentices and low-income Indigenous employees.

Expressions of Interest can be made via Yurra, the construction company responsible for the completion of the project.

The Ganalili Housing Program supports the cost of living. Also, it provides support services like financial management, home loan application support, learning about nutrition, eating healthy, and grocery shopping tips.

Yindjibarndi Aboriginal Corporation CEO Michael Woodley spoke with Asad Khan from Ngarda Media about the transitional housing program brining financial ease to Aboriginal People in the Pilbara’s Roebourne region.
