After devastating fires tore through  New South Wales yesterday, today the wind has changed direction and is now causing more fires to wreak havoc for houses and properties in Queensland.

Australian politician Barnaby Joyce yesterday made comments that two victims of the New South Wales bushfires were likely Greens voters saying environmental regulations may have fanned the flames of the fires.

However, a fire expert disputes this and says that climate change and extreme weather played a big part in starting the fires.
