An independent review into the National Disability Insurance Scheme Agency has shown the Scheme lacks clarity prompting fears about a delay of the rollout.

The report says the short time frame the Scheme was created in means there’s confusion about terms in the plan, their ICT system isn’t fully appropriate and the board doesn’t have the best possible members. Also, the review notes the move from Canberra to Geelong has posed significant problems with recruitment. But disability representatives say the rollout shouldn’t be delayed as it improves with time.
