Fears of a fall in living standards for low income groups as crisis looms

With talk of another global financial crisis in the air, groups representing low income earners around the country are concerned that living conditions for the least wealthy among us could be about to take a turn for the worse.

Advocacy group Combined Pensioners and Superannuants Association of Australia (CPSA) says over 1 million pensioners are still trying to get back on their feet after the first crisis. CPSA’s  Cost of living policy launched this month focuses on access to basic essentials such as water, electricity and food.
