Fair Work Australia rules that community sector workers are underpaid

Fair Work Australia has ruled that Community Sector workers are underpaid. It said the reason that they’re underpaid is at least partly because most of them are women. This groundbreaking case is a test run of the new federal Fair Work Act, and it marks the first time that a union has successfully argued that an entire sector of workers is underpaid, partly because of their gender.
