The Wire

An ex Israeli soldier has today told The Wire that he was involved in nightly raids of innocent households. He’s a part of a group of ex soldiers that collects testimonies about what they see as questionable and inhumane tactics employed by the Israeli Defence Forces. The soldiers are against the Israeli occupation of areas in the Gaza strip and the West Bank, saying that peace can’t be achieved by using the current methods of tight control over the Palestinian population. They’ve just released a book of testimonies called ‘our harsh logic’. In Australia to promote the book is ex Israeli soldier Avner Gvaryahu.
