A woman in regional Queensland is helping refugee women to thrive and be independent in their new home.

Mosaic Hues is located in Toowoomba, 125 kilometres west of Brisbane, providing social connections to new migrants with their new community.

One of the programs is helping migrant women to obtain their driver’s license.

The Wire’s Sameen Arshad asked co-founder of Mosaic Hues and winner of the Diversity and Inclusion Champion award at the Multicultural Queensland Awards Rachael Carter, about her work in Toowoomba.
