Pulling Australian troops out of Afghanistan by the end of the year is one cause that has united the major political parties. The draw down of Australian troops will be slow, and will coincide with that of the rest of the International Security Assistance Force. But what are we leaving behind, are the Afghan Security Forces capable of securing the country, and what more should we do for the country once we leave?
