The current election campaign has seen the political party Family First plagued with controversies. In the last two weeks alone, the party has:-been accused of trying to strike a preference deal with the Sex Party, seen its Queensland Senate Candidate caught on Twitter likening homosexual parents to child abusers and today it disendorsed a candidate who declared a abortion was a women’s choice. Despite all this the party is likely to garner strong support in certain states at the upcoming Federal election.
