Aboriginal-centered education helps students feel empowered and included within the education system. In recognition of National Reconciliation Week (29th May – 2nd June), the Wire takes a look at initiatives from both Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities to include Aboriginal knowledge and culture in the school curriculum.

The Papunya School Book of Country is the basis of a current art exhibition in Sydney based on illustrations from the Anangu community involved in the project.
