A cartoonist’s role is to provide a lighter side of what are often serious and controversial issues – but what does it take to push things too far? The recent Muslim riots in Denmark and Norway over images depicting the Islamic prophet Muhummad have got cartoonists debating around the world. Warren Brown is a cartoonist for the Daily Telegraph who has had his fair share of criticism for his work. Alex Parry asked him whether the Danish paper was irresponsible or just carrying out its public role.
