Dr Daniel Hunt awarded Indigenous Doctor of the Year

This month, Dr Daniel Hunt won the Indigenous Doctor of the Year 2024 at the National Aboriginal Community Control Health Organisation conference in Canberra.

Dr Hunt is a Jaru and Indijbardni (Indi-bardni) man and is the acting CEO of Derbal Yerrigan Health Service. His main focus is STIs, blood borne viruses and clinical governance.

Proud of his achievements, Dr Hunt aims to further improve the health and wellbeing of Indigenous Australians.
