Lismore law student Kashmir Miller was today dangling from a tree 25 m up attached to 3 tree harvesting implements.

She was in the Doubleduke State Forest 50 km south of Lismore where a sizeable chunk of the forest has been closed whilst some tree harvesting is taking place.

Habitat has been greatly decreased for owls, gliders and koalas following busfires, and protesters are concerned that more will disappear.

Forestry Corporation (Formerly Forestry NSW) say that 1% of State forests have timber felling operations in any given year and that each area is regrown.
