1 in 6, or just under 1.5 million women have experienced physical or sexual violence at the hands of a present or past partner. Many of these stories go unreported but when they are, they’re often told in a way that blames the victim. As part of White Ribbon Week, media groups met this morning to pledge their commitment to make their reporting more responsible.
