Domestic flight attendants confused over COVID governments’ messages
It’s been 18 months since the pandemic began, and flight attendants were the most affected sector with almost no flights available to work. ?
Now that domestic flights are back in the air, there are contradicting messages on domestic flight attendants being essential workers.
Some domestic flight attendants in Queensland, for instance, have been told they are not eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine because they are not considered essential workers or because they are under 30 years of age.
The Flight Attendants Association of Australia wants the Federal government to state who is an essential worker so domestic flight attendants can receive a COVID jab.
