Did you celebrate the queen’s birthday with a sleep in? A barbeque? If so, you are not alone. Yesterday most Australians had a day off in recognition of our monarch. But two weeks ago, national sorry day meant business as usual. Public holidays in Australia are determined by state and territory governments, and don’t necessarily reflect the concerns of Australians.
