Doctors for the Environment Australia

Members of the group Doctors for the Environment Australia (DEA)  met outside the Bank of South Australia  today to close their organisation’s accounts in protest against fossil fuel investment.

The Bank of South Australia does not have any fossil fuel investments but is a wholly owned subsidiary of Westpac which does have investments.

The medical professionals are worried about the health risks fossil fuels can create and are determined to make a positive difference for the environment.
