It’s a question that always comes up when we talk about rural health – how can we get more skilled doctors out to country areas and get them to stay there? The answer may lie in a new plan for a national rural training program by the Rural Doctors Association of Australia, which aims to give doctors the skills they need to be able to address the challenges of working in the bush.
