If you live in Australia’s richest city, you’d expect to share in some of the spoils. But unlike the widespread assumption, metropolitan areas are not necessarily better off than those in the country, when it comes to economic success A report, conducted by Monash University, found that not all communities, especially urban centres benefit from the ongoing economic growth. The Wire’s Hagar Cohen spoke to the report’s co author, Dr. Scott Baum about his findings.
