Disability experts press for alternatives to psychotropic drugs

Since the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability was opened in late 2019, the public have heard of the mistreatment of people with disability across the country. The sixth public hearing which started earlier this week has illuminated the dangers of the overuse of Psychotropic drugs and what can be done instead.
