On November 8th, a new fabrication laboratory or ‘Fab-Lab’ is opening in Adelaide as part of a Government arts initiative, allowing people on the street to come in and use 3D printers and advanced rendering technology to create anything at the drop of a hat.
Laser cutting, 3D printing and water-jet cutting robotics will now be at the public’s disposal, as the technologies continue to shadow traditional means of design and manufacturing.
