New research conducted by Sydney’s Garvan Institute could revolutionise treatment of Type 1 diabetes. Type 1 diabetes has always been an incurable condition. Unlike Type 2, Type 1 exists from birth and severely impacts the lives of sufferers, necessitating frequent injections and having broader health implications. The new research could see a permanent solution to Type 1 diabetes.
