The Australian Bureau of Statistics shows the projected Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population to be over one million people by 2028, but what will this mean for the health issues which affect Indigenous people more than the total population?

Type 2 diabetes affects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander at three times the rate of the population overall, and it means there could be more people living with diabetes in the near future.
