Euthanasia remains in the minds of the Australian people, with greens senator Dr Richard Di Natale whom has put a bill before federal parliament to allow Euthanasia. The bill has released familiar arguments regarding the sanctity of life and medical ethics which has been spurred on by the suspension of medical practitioner Dr Phillip Nietchkie. Predominantly a state issue this bill will however be the very first time it will be granted as a national law if passed. The often controversial topic of euthanasia is again in the spotlight.
