Nuclear waste is again on the spotlight. The Iraqi community is getting affected by depleted uranium, or nuclear waste, which is bringing awful consequences to them. A new report released today from an European non-government organisation says Iraq is struggling with uranium waste, bringing environmental and health issues to the community.

An Australian journalist and activist is investigating the causes depleted uranium is taking on people’s lives, and agrees with the released report. Australia needs to create more awareness of depleted uranium, even though it does not manage uranium waste.
