The Deadly Awards have celebrated their 19th year of recognising the successes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. The lifetime achievement award went to singer/songwriter Archie Roach who is remembered for songs based on his own experiences as a member of the Stolen Generations. Sydney Swans Co-Captain Adam Goodes was also recognised for his achievements on and off the sporting field.
